Ultra High Resolution Tekken 7 Character Renders

TFG proudly hosts 4 specific artwork galleries for TEKKEN 7 and TEKKEN 7: Fated Retribution, including galleries for concept art, character illustrations, and 3D character renders. Ultra high resolution character renders for all characters appearing in "vanilla" TEKKEN 7 have been added to the gallery. Several new renders for TEKKEN 7: FR were also recently added (and many more will be coming soon!)

Polygon's "Making of Samurai Shodown" Article Interviews 3 Original SNK Developers

Polygon put together a "Making of Samurai Shodown" article that every SNK fan will want to read. The article features interviews with 3 original SNK developers: Yasushi Adachi, Tomoki Fukui, and Norio Tate. The interview cuts through a wide variety of topics, including early design inspirations, artwork, sound design, console releases, and SNK as a company. Adachi also states that he would like to reunite the original dev-team and make a new game!

Injustice 2 "Your Battles Your Way" Previews The Gear Customization System

With a slogan that sounds straight out of a fast food chain commercial, Injustice 2's "Your Battles Your Way" trailer gives a glimpse at the in-game "Gear System". Once again, Injustice 2's Gear System is a customization feature allowing players to change up the attire of characters' armor which will also have an effect on their stats and gameplay. Capcom Releases Anatomy Guide Used by Street Fighter Artists Over The Past 20 Years

The art style of the Street Fighter series has indubitably had a massive impact on the fighting genre over last few decades, inspiring fans and rival game developers alike. Capcom art director, Toshiyuki Kamei, recently shared some pages from Capcom's anatomy reference guide, which was originally compiled during the mid-90's. The Flash Injustice 2 Gameplay Reveal Trailer

NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. have kept the new Injustice 2 trailers rolling as of late. This morning, they released The Flash's official reveal trailer, demonstrating some gameplay against Gorilla Grodd. The trailer shows off The Flash's new special moves and his ridiculous super move where he takes his opponent to distant lands.

Tekken 7 X NJPW Bullet Club Collaboration Shirts & Bryan Fury Bandana Available April 9th

Back in 2009, the TEKKEN team collaborated with the TapouT brand, creating not only in-game TapouT shirts for TEKKEN 6 characters, but actual shirts for fans to buy (which now fetch a pretty high price on Ebay). So far, TEKKEN 7's main collaboration is with New Japan Pro Wrestling, bringing "TEKKEN X Bullet Club" shirts to TEKKEN 7 characters and fans alike. NJPW Champion Kenny Omega (also a big TEKKEN fan) recently modeled some of the new merch.

Tekken Comic Issue #1 Jin Kazama Cover Artwork, Pre-Orders Now Open

Back in February 2017, we reported that a new TEKKEN comic series is being published by Titan Comics and previewed some of the cover artworks. Check out an awesome new Jin Kazama cover artwork for TEKKEN Issue #1 (UK Championship Edition) which is now available for pre-order. Once again, the comic is being written by Cavan Scott, with illustrations by Andy Tong.

Injustice 2 Captain cold Gameplay Reveal Trailer + Shattered Alliances Part 4 Trailer

Just a few days following Catwoman's Injustice 2 gameplay trailer, Warner Bros and NetherRealm Studios has released Captain Cold's reveal trailer. Clearly, the Captain has "no chill" as he demonstrates his many ice projectile attacks and freeze abilities. It appears Captain Cold even has a double jump, in the way of his ice platform creation ability. [UPDATE] Added Shattered Alliances Part 4 Trailer.

KOF XIV Version 2.00 with 4 DLC Characters + 2 New Stages Now Available, Pricing Details

Everybody rumored. Nobody believed. But you see... it's true! SNK has released the version 2.00 patch for The King of Fighters XIV, adding DLC characters Rock Howard, Vanessa, Yamazaki and Whip to the roster, along with 2 new stages. A bundle priced at $19.99 ($17.99 for PS+ members) containing all 4 characters is now available on PSN. Each character can also be individually purchased for $5.99. Classic M. Bison Stage & Street Fighter Academy Costumes Coming to SFV Later This Month

Now that April Fools is over, we can give fighting game news the benefit of the doubt once again. Capcom did announce on April 1st that M. Bison's classic Street Fighter 2 Thailand stage will be coming to SFV later this month as DLC, along with new costumes for Ryu, Chun-Li, and Juri Han based on Street Fighter Academy Quiz (an online mini-game released by Capcom on April Fools). Injustice 2 Catwoman Gameplay Trailer

Even though Catwoman was already revealed for Injustice 2 in previous trailers, she didn't have her own gameplay trailer yet. Today, Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios shared Catwoman's official trailer, showing off some of her special moves and some new stage interactions as well.

KOF XIV Rock Howard Gameplay & Combo Videos

If you're hype for Rock Howard's return in The King of Fighters XIV (arriving April 5th), then you'll most likely want to check out these new KOF XIV gameplay videos featuring the Garou: Mark of the Wolves protagonist. The first video has Rock facing his mentor, Terry Bogard, while the other contains a few KOF14 combo samples for Rock. Both videos are under 1-minute long (and were conveniently added to TFG's previous article for Rock's reveal trailer).

Capcom Unveils Street Fighter Academy Quiz for April Fools Day

On this April Fools Day, Capcom's CFN Portal has introduced Street Fighter Academy Quiz - a playable mini-game testing your knowledge on Street Fighter series trivia. Players can choose to fight against either Ryu, Chun-Li or Juri Han while answering the questions. Arika Teases New Street Fighter EX / Fighting Layer Successor on April Fools Day

Arika (Street Fighter EX developer) used this April Fools day to debut a gameplay video of a new fighting game engine they're working on, featuring SFEX characters, Kairi, Garuda and Hokuto. Several years back, Arika shared developmental footage of a SFEX-inspired reboot, but it was experimental. However, it seems Arika never actually stopped development of the spiritual successor to SFEX, and hasn't forgotten about the characters they own the rights to.

Latest Tekken 7 PS4 Build With New Stages & Characters Shown During Tekken Talk Stream

The "TEKKEN Talk" stream for March 2017 took place last night via Twitch. Mark "Markman" Julio was present to debut the newest build of TEKKEN 7, featuring playable Eddy Gordo, Kuma and Panda in gameplay for the first time. Also debuting in gameplay for the first time ever were a bunch of new stages: Geometric Plane, Infinite Azure, Kinder Gym and Arena. In addition, other new stages were selectable but weren't shown off in gameplay yet.
