Clark is
part of the Ikari Warriors mercenary agency who is under the orders of Commander
Heidern
and Colonel Ralf
Jones. He
was formerly a spy before he entered their service. Clark is known for being a
focused and loyal soldier who specializes in gathering information for their
missions. He apparently wears his sunglasses to hide a scar in the middle of his
forehead; it was caused by Ralf who was carelessly playing with his knives at
the time.
Like the
other Ikari Warriors, Clark was ordered to enter each tournament by Heidern. He
continues to play a supporting role in Ralf's decisions and often accepts his
superior's views. He and Ralf helped Leona
overcome her dramatic past at the end of 1997. His first appearance was in the
classic SNK arcade game, Ikari Warriors (1986).

Besides appearing in SNK's original
arcade games, Ikari Warriors,
I don't know why SNK pushed this design for so long in the KOF series...
Clark looked like a super generic army dude / construction worker for
the longest time. If anything, he contrasts all of the other KOF characters by
not having much fashion sense at all. He always struck me as boring, especially
in the early years of the series... SNK
slowly improved his outfit over the years, but he still never managed to be even
halfway as exciting as other designs from KOF. Aside from his appearance,
I also don't find Clark's
fighting style to be very interesting either... and I do hate how he just "throws you
straight up in the air, catches
you, and then finally slams
you." I do hate that crap... it's just dumb. lol. SNK changed up his
attire in KOF XII, and apparently now Clark uses steroids, making for his coolest-looking rendition to date...
lol. Even so, I
still hate you Clark. Nah, you're too boring to me to "hate". I just
dislike you. lol. ;)
