GENERAL/STORY:
Ralf and Clark
were the mercenaries called the Ikari Warriors. After their jungle battles,
Heidern called on them for a special mission - to enter the KoF tournament.
Since then they have been in every tournament fighting first Rugal and
then NESTS. With the disappearance of Kyo,
the Ikari team almost became main characters of a kind. Ralf is in love
with Leona, but she likes Clark
more. He was actually called Paul in the SNK game, Ikari Warriors. In KOF2006
Ralf has an alter-ego known as Armor
Ralf. Ralf is also a playable character in Metal Slug 6.

REVIEW:
Ralf & Clark were
always 'sprite clones', even in the latest KOF installment (KOF XII), but at
least they each have a small handful of their own unique moves. Between the two, I prefer
Ralf, but maybe that's just because I really hate Clark. lol. Ralf kinda has the
badass Rambo vibe going, but he was always an average design visually...
Up until KOF XII at least, where he looks undeniably cooler than in the classic
games.
Ralf at least adds some diversity in the KOF series... His anger-driven
brawling fighting style has also improved from the early days, but there's still something kinda awkward
about his overall fighting style. I think they went a bit overboard with the
"explosion" hit effects... So does he have grenades in his fist or something.
Yea,
whaaatever.
