GENERAL/STORY:
The
young boy Jimmy was in a plane crash, and ended up in the amazons. The
plane was shot down by Shadaloo when it came too close to a base. Blanka
was raised by animals. One day he saved Dan's life
in the jungle. They became friends, and Blanka left to see the outside
world. It wasn't until he participated in the second tournament that he
found his mother. She recognized him from his anklets, and they lived happily
ever after.

REVIEW:
Blanka
was the obvious oddball/freak design of the SF series, besides Dhalsim,
that is. He was also the first character that I got "good" with in the
original SF2... But after I started using other characters later
on as an older fighting game player, I kind of stopped using him for some
reason. I'm not really a big fan of his design, but he is original for
sure; and has come a long way... And on a side note, he clearly seems to
suffer from the same "overly green" disease as Hulk,
and even wears shorts like Hulk.
