GENERAL/STORY:
Kyo's father and leader of the Kusanagi clan. He raised Kyo to carry on the legacy, but deep inside he wants the fight with Yagami to end. One day, he heard of the powerful Rugal and went to challenge him. However, Rugal was too strong and defeated him. Vice then brainwashed Saisyu to follow Rugal. When Team Japan reached Rugal, they first had to fight Saisyu. Many years later, he teaches Shingo so that he can finally become almost as powerful as Kyo. His wife's name is Shizuka.

REVIEW:
He's got some coolness factor to him, but he sort of falls into the boring category when compared to many others from his series. Not bad for an old guy, but clearly he never really made a big impact in the SNK world. He does get some coolness points for being Kyo's father and all, plus he's got some decent special moves.
