GENERAL/STORY:
Ayane is is Kasumi's half sister and a ninja assassin who is destined to live in the shadow of Kasumi. An expert in ninjitsu, her deadly fighting style has given her the nickname "Female Tengu." She joins in the Dead or Alive World Combat Championship as an assassin in pursuit of Kasumi. She is also a rival of Helena.

REVIEW:
Most "anime style" ninja girls are getting rather monotonous these days... And Ayane isn't really an exception to the trend. Other than the fact that Tecmo gave her big boobs and purple hair, there really isn't anything exciting or "original" about her design... Her moves are alright, but nothing I'd call spectacular. She's definitely got some cool alternate costumes, but her personality and overall design is lacking in depth.
