Erik Magnus Lehnsherr will stop at nothing to see his dream of mutant domination
over the world realized. At one time a close friend of Professor X, Lehnsherr
now hides his features behind the fearsome helmet of Magneto. The master
of magnetism is the enemy of the X-men and is one of the most feared villians
in the Marvel Universe.

REVIEW:
If you don't think
Magneto is one of the best comic villains of all time, you're simply uninformed. Magneto
has always had an awesome role throughout the entire X-men series. He's clearly the bad
guy, but he has good reason to be and is pretty much a genius... You know, I really can't think of one thing
I dislike about good old Magnus. Heh.
His fighting game debut was no doubt a success, as he was unmistakable a badass
boss in Xmen: COTA. And of course, his further appearances in Capcom's VS series
further solidified his role as a badass and fun to use fighting game
character... His air combos in MvC2, for example, are some of the flashiest (and
hardest to do) combos ever seen in a fighting game. "Magneto was
right."
