GENERAL/STORY:
Lion Rafale is a high
school student from France. He fights to gain independence from his father, and
uses the style of Praying Mantis Kung Fu. He is born into the Rafale family, one
of the wealthiest families in France, whom are involved in the aircraft
industry. But this business is just a front for their involvement in illegal
arms contracts with terrorists. Lion has been practicing Praying Mantis Kung Fu
under an instructor as part of management education since he was five. He
resents his father's control over his life and during one of their arguments,
his father proposed that Lion must win the World Fighting Tournament as a
prerequisite to become free from him.

REVIEW:
Wait... Is he still
a high school student after all these years? I guess he failed. Get your GED
buddy!
Even though
his fighting style is kinda cool, his personality and appearance really kills
his design. I mean, Lion has consistently had some of the absolute worst outfits I've
ever
seen in a fighting game; along with some of the worst win quotes and intros of
all time. And they just seem to get worse from game to game... WTF is wrong with
Lion anyway?!? Can't Sega make him say anything that makes him sound halfway
intelligent?
