GENERAL/STORY:
While touring America,
Master Zen'keth of the Tiger Shrine found a baby hidden in a dumpster.
He was running late for his return flight, so he didn't have the time to
take the child to the proper authorities. Not knowing what to do with the
child, he brought him back to Tibet, and named him Jago. Jago was an exceptional
member of the Shrine. Master Zen'keth let him know sometime during puberty
the truth of his origins. But it didn't matter - the Tiger Shrine
was his home, and the members were his family. Jago showed incredible fighting
skills. One master believed that Jago had the potential to
use great powers in the future.
To test his skills, Jago decided
to participate in the Killer Instinct 7 tournament. He soon found
that his skills would be needed by a young woman named Orchid,
as there was a lot more to the tournament than it seemed. During
a tough and almost fatal fight against the cybernetic warrior named Fulgore,
Jago earned the right to face Eyedol in the championship match. However,
Orchid, impatient with the tournament, challenged Eyedol and won.
Jago was forced to rematch Fulgore, where he finally destroyed the cyborg.
Upon Ultratech being ripped into the past, a new cyborg, Fulgore 2, was
activated. Thanks to a last minute directive by the original, this
cyborg was completely obsessed with killing Jago. To make matters
worse, Jago found out about the true origins of the Tiger Shrine - it was
originally founded as a temple to worship the demon lord Gargos.
Over the years, Gargos's image has been somehow been transformed into a
Tiger. Knowing this, Jago finds that he can no longer follow a religion
that was founded to idolize Gargos. Also during the past, Jago found that
the young woman known as Orchid was his sister. This, plus the information
concerning the Tiger Shrine, has given Jago the motivation to find out
more about who he is, and his past. However, Orchid has become unresponsive,
and Jago is finding himself more alone now than he ever was.

REVIEW:
Pretty much
every fighting game series isn't complete without some sort of "ninja"
design, so Jago was naturally a cool design for his series, and actually is a
pretty cool looking ninja design at that. He debuted with some cool looking
moves and some impressive combos as well, and his return in Killer Instinct
2/Gold wasn't a disappointment either. His voice acting in KI2 is memorable, and
he had a badass finishing move also.
