Eiji Kisaragi

BIO:

Using the Kisaragi style carried down for hundreds of years, his school is a sworn enemy of Ryo's, and with a whole team of Kyokugen fighters entering, he joins the KOF tournament to defeat them in 1995. However, his team mate Iori nearly kills him when the team fails to reach the finals. He then retires from the fighting, and has never been seen since. He's NOT in love with Mai, that is something SNK USA came up with. And it is said that Zantetsu is his great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather.

Ninjas are indubitably cool by default and all, but Eiji is a generic ninja design in my book. He seemed to have been thrown into the Art of Fighting series just because the series needed a ninja.... Then he crossed over the KOF series (which also needed a ninja) and was kinda cool in KOF, but overall, he ended up being a sleeper character and was outshined by many. Not much about his fighting style really says "original"... and you know I'm big on originality. Also worth mentioning, Eiji's animation in KOF is also pretty lacking. Lastly, his mullet haircut is also questionable. >.> Meh.
