July 2026 Open Beta Trailer, New Details

System Works and Sony Interactive Entertainment have officially unveiled
the highly anticipated Open Beta details for Marvel
Tokon:
Fighting Souls,
scheduled to run for 72 hours from July 24 to July 26, 2026.
This testing period will be available to players on PlayStation 5, Steam,
and the Epic Games Store without requiring a PlayStation Plus
subscription. The Open Beta will showcase 15 of the
game's 20 launch characters, including the highly
anticipated debut of Blade as a
fighting game character.

Players
will be able to form 4 × 4 tag teams from a star-studded roster featuring
Captain
America, Iron
Man,
Black Panther, Storm,
Magik, Wolverine,
Danger, Spider-Man,
Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord,
Peni Parker,
Ghost Rider,
Doctor Doom, and Magneto. Battles
will take place across six iconic Marvel locations, such as the Savage
Land, Wakanda, and the X-Mansion.
Beyond
standard online matchmaking, the Open Beta will offer players a robust
look at the game's diverse modes ahead of its official August 6,
2026 launch. Participants can test their skills in both Casual
and Ranked online matches, or enjoy local play via Versus Mode against
friends or CPU opponents. The beta also introduces the interactive
"Open Lobby," where players can customize 16 unique avatars to
explore miniature stages, communicate via emotes, and challenge others at
arcade cabinets.
For those looking to master the game's mechanics, the "Start Up
Battle" Tutorial and a fully customizable Training Mode will be
available. Additionally, players will get an exclusive first look at the
narrative-driven Episode Mode, experiencing the first three chapters of
the Amazing Guardians storyline. This comprehensive beta serves as the
final major showcase for the revolutionary 4v4 tag-team fighter before it
lands on shelves next month.
