Tokyo Game Show 2022: Street Fighter 6
World Tour's Opening Movie, Extreme Battle Trailer

 On
the second day of Tokyo Game Show '22, Capcom unveiled the opening movie to Street
Fighter 6's robust World Tour mode and confirmed the game will
launch with 18 characters. The intro is packed with slick
graffiti art, new character illustrations, and a hype-inducing announcer welcoming
players to the world of SF6. The video also unveils brand
new character art confirming several new characters, including returning veterans Cammy
White, Dee Jay,
and Zangief! Without

"The Meaning of Strength".

Capcom also shared a
standalone trailer today for Extreme
Battle, the newly announced mode shown briefly in the TGS '22 reveal
trailer. Extreme Battle will be playable in the upcoming closed
beta and offers a less serious "party mode"
type experience with in-game gimmicks like a Tekken Ball-esque mode,
fighting with a bull that randomly enters the battle, and even a mode
where fighters encounter exploding enemies from the Mega
Man series.

Capcom
uploaded the full stream archive from their Tokyo Game
Show '22 Special Program today which you can now watch on YouTube.
During the event, the developers showed a lot more gameplay of the new
characters and newly confirmed modes including Training Mode. The action
starts around the 12:50 timestamp in the video below.

The confirmed newcomers include Manon, Marisa, Lily,
and JP. As you might remember, several of these character designs were included in the earlier leaked
artwork from back in June of this year. Last but not least, scroll

Tour opening movie.
