TGS 2022 Street Fighter 6 Special Program Date and Time, World Tour Mode to be Shown

This weekend at Tokyo Game Show 2022, Capcom is set to host a Street Fighter 6 "Special Program". Over the weekend, Capcom announced they will be revealing brand new gameplay footage of the game's highly-anticipated World Tour mode at TGS. Capcom previously described the mode as "a single-player immersive story mode that pushes the boundaries of what a fighting game can be". In addition to new footage of World Tour, Capcom confirmed they will be showing something new from SF6's Fighting Ground mode — which consists of the Multi-player hub, Arcade, Local Versus, Training, and Online. On Twitter, Capcom confirmed the date and time (Sept. 16th at 8:00pm PT) for their TGS '22 program.

There's also a pretty good chance that Capcom could reveal a new character or two during their TGS '22 online event, so be sure to tune in this weekend for all the announcements! Last month, Capcom announced TGS '22 will host the latest build of SF6 for attendees to try out — the TGS demo containing the largest playable roster to date with a total of 7 playable fighters.
The updated TGS '22 Street Fighter 6 build adds Guile, Kimberly, and Juri Han to the earlier public demo's playable roster of four fighters (Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, and Jamie).

Tokyo Game Show '22 kicks off September 15th-18th with the physical event taking place at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Tokyo, Japan. Capcom's booth at TGS '22 will also feature demos of several other upcoming titles like Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak and Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. One more time for the record, the TGS '22 Street Fighter 6 Special Program will be streaming live on Friday, September 16th at 8:00pm PT on YouTube and Twitch.

Stay tuned on Fighters Generation for TGS '22 coverage and announcements!
