REVIEW:
The original
kind-hearted "Indian Girl" of Tekken was a memorable character at the time of
her debut... She was never one of my personal favorites, though I could admit
she was an 'original' design in the fighting game universe. Simply put, there
never really was a "Pocahontas" of fighting games... She always wore a stereotypical Indian costume,
as well as a rather weird 2nd player costume with zebra socks & armbands that
were just awkward (yikes)!
Michelle was definitely a "sleeper" character
in the Tekken roster, which is likely why Julia replaced her in Tekken 3 and
after; especially since Michelle was gettin' up there in age anyway. Julia became
a more developed character overall, but her connection to Michelle is
undeniable. Next to Jun, Michelle is probably the "nicest" out of all the
Tekken characters... Which makes her being in a fighting game kinda
contradictory.
