away, but she never got any new students. So when started traveling around
the world to make her style famous and attract students. Her father's name
was Masaru. Capcom said her design was originally meant to be Ryu's
sister... Hmm.

REVIEW:
Makoto
might seem like a generic design at first glance (or another "shoto"
character), but like many quality fighting
game characters, her traditional appearance & fighting style is the strength of
her design. She's got
an awesomely traditional (and unique) karate fighting style & some
incredibly powerful & cool looking moves. A solid addition to the SF3 series, yet slightly lacking in originality department.
Her return in SSF IV looks superb so far... she should bring a lot of style to
the game.
