Yipes Make Cameos

 The
excitement surrounding the upcoming cinematic adaptation of Capcom's
legendary fighting franchise reached a new level of hype following the
release of the latest trailer showcasing a portion of the film's brutal
underground prison match between Ryu
(Andrew Koji) and Blanka
(Jason Momoa + CG). Presided over by David Dastmalchian's menacing M.
Bison, In the gritty sequence highlights Shadaloo's oppressive regime
while treating fans to a cascade of faithful Easter eggs, iconic moves
like the Hadouken along with Blanka's electricity and Rolling Attack.

Adding to the authentic community hype, the short scene also features
cameo of prominent Fighting Game Community legends Justin Wong, IFC
Yipes, and well-known content creator Maximilian Dood, who can be heard
shouting his signature "LET'S GO!" from his YouTube
intro. Congrats doods. We did it.
Scheduled for release on October 16,
2026, the film is directed by Kitao Sakurai and aims to lean heavily into
nostalgia and action-packed fun that honors both the history of the 1990s
