Street Fighter (2026) Full Movie Trailer

Paramount Pictures and Legendary dropped a full length trailer for the Street Fighter live action film set to hit theaters October 16th, 2026. Set against the backdrop of 1993—the same year Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers dominated arcades—the film serves as a nostalgic period piece that captures the aesthetic and cultural zeitgeist of the era, complete with references to MTV and the pop-culture staples of the time. The film follows Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) who return to their fighting roots after Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament. Behind this battle royale lies a deadly conspiracy that forces them to face off against each other and the demons of their past.

The production, backed by Legendary Entertainment and Capcom, represents a massive investment in the cultural capital of fighting games. The film's production, which spanned from August to November 2025, features a diverse and high-profile cast that underscores the ambitious scale of this reboot. The ensemble includes Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Callina Liang, and Joe "Roman Reigns" Anoa'i, alongside notable figures such as David Dastmalchian, Cody Rhodes, Andrew Schulz, Vidyut Jammwal, Eric André, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, and Jason Momoa.

The casting choices have particularly electrified both the fighting game community and the professional wrestling world, creating a unique cross-pollination of fanbases. With WWE superstar Roman Reigns stepping into the role of the formidable Akuma and Cody Rhodes portraying the stoic Guile, the film leverages the physical presence and charisma of elite athletes to bring these larger-than-life characters to the screen. Once again, Street Fighter (2026) hits theaters October 16th, 2026.
