BIO:

Hideyasu "Soki" Yuki is the main character of Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams. He is a strong warrior who possesses the dark power of the Oni. Soki uses a variety of heavy broadswords and katanas. He goes by many names besides Soki and Hideyasu Yuki; Blue Demon, Oni of the Ash, and God of Darkness. Having learned about Hideyoshi's insidious scheme, he sets out on a journey to burn the Genma trees and defeat the Genma running rampant across the land.

Wielding two swords with such grace, precision and power, Hideyasu is soon referred to by townsfolk as "Kaijin no Soki", Oni of the Ash, due to his extreme resemblance to the Oni God. Soki's travels are aided by a young creature by the name of Minokichi. He provides Soki with instant "teleported" travel, insight on the various creatures & places they traverse, and quips about the allies they eventually obtain. In Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, Soki has a hidden costume that closely resembles Ryu Street Fighter.

I played the first Onimusha, Onimusha 2, and Onimusha 3, but I skipped Onimusha 4 for some reason. Ironically enough that was the game where certain Street Fighter characters were hidden playable characters, as well as Soki. I still haven't had the urge to go back and check it out, though.

With that said, I'm not sure how well Soki translated from his original game into a fighting game character. However, he's a pretty cool samurai design, and managed to fit in pretty well with the TVC cast. I do like his alternate, powered-up evil version...
