GENERAL/STORY:
Although
he is slow and big, Earthquake is actually a "ninja bandit" from the U.S.A.
His weapon is the "Nage Gama." He is a huge mercenary who uses the arts
of Iga Ninjutsu+self taught Ninjutsu. He had originally trained under the
same master as Galford but got sick of it and
left for America. By the time he got to America, he had already forgotten
about Galford. When Amakusa rose from the grave
and started causing havoc all over the world, he decides to steal all the
treasure from around the world during all the turmoil. A year later, Mizuki
came into his mind and told him that if he kills those she tells him to,
she will reward him with gold each time. As Earthquake came to his senses,
gold came flying down from the sky. He and Genan
persuaded
Genjuro to join their plan with Mizuki
as well. After Mizuki's defeat, he and his henchmen dove into Makai and
never came back.

REVIEW:
Earthquake
is an original design for sure... One of the first "fat" ninjas anyway.
He's definitely good comic relief for his series, and he also has some innovative
moves to fighting games. Gotta love the way he farts on his opponents and
laughs... That still cracks me up. I loved using him in Samurai Shodown 2, and
also used him in SNK VS Capcom Chaos, but his fighting style wasnt nearly as
good in Chaos as it was in SS2.
