Adelheid is the son of Rugal Bernstein. Together with his kid sister Rose, Adel commands the Sky Noah, a flying fortress. He confronts the winners of the KOF 2003 tournament, but his reasons for fighting are unclear. Rose is known to watch Adel's battles and play piano on the observation deck of the Sky Nova. She's proud of being Rugal's daughter, and will not suffer defeat.

Adelheid is such a girly boy... I wonder what Rugal thinks of his son, who's clearly in touch with his feminine side. lol. Adelheid's fighting style is similar to Rugal's and his flamboyant persona also compliments his last name. ;) Since he's Rugal's son and all, he's a naturally cool design for the series... but overall, he's not nearly as intricate of a design as other KOF fighters. Adelheid's sister Rose is also an effective support character and also a cool design overall.
