8 Version 2.01 Now Live, Patch Notes
|

|
|
 The
latest patch for TEKKEN
8
(V2.01) is now live and introduces major balance adjustments
and fixes to address recent battle-related issues. After carefully
considering community feedback, a variety of improvements were made to
certain mechanics to improve the effectiveness of defense, sidestepping,
and toning down certain aspects of Heat techniques and new
moves recently added in Season 2. The TEKKEN Shop has also been updated
with new items such as the Vigilante Tech Pack and Cyber Phantom
Pack.
Bandai Namco's Kohei Ikeda (Nakatsu) had this to
say on Twitter: "We released the balance adjustment patch (V2.01)
today. Due to the time required for battle-related adjustments, some items
could not be included in this update, but we plan to address them
gradually in the balance updates scheduled for June and July."
Nakatsu continued, "We will continue to review feedback from the
community, discuss and evaluate it within the team, and remain committed
to improving the overall gameplay experience for TEKKEN 8."

As
a competitive TEKKEN 8 player, I can confidently say that the
overall game balance, side-stepping effectiveness against Heat moves, and
defensive options have been vastly improved with Bandai Namco's
recent updates, especially V2.01. Side-stepping feels great in the new
update!
