When I first saw characters from GBVS, I wasn't expecting a pro-wrestler to show up... especially in a (mostly) weapon-based fighting game. Interesting!  Now... let's address the pink elephant in the room. He's a "she"....? I have nothing snarky to say about this one. It's 2019 and we live in a new world of "acceptance". You do you, Ladiva. If this bearded buff bro (in heels?) wants to call herself a "she" and rassle for a living... fine with me. Ladiva's fighting style is pretty awesome, fun, and hilarious. Let's not make it political and talk about which bathroom she should be using. Instead, talk about this character's sick animations and innovative / hilarious /  cool pro-wrestling moveset.

Ladiva might be a difficult character for some westerners to stomach... but I think Ladiva is so kooky and random of a design, that she will up being one of the "stand out" characters of GBVS. Male or female, I've always loved using grapplers in 2D fighters. Hmm... R. Mika + Zangief = Ladiva? Day One Main Material? Let's see what ya got, Lady-beard!
