Ever since she was
a little girl, Jane has always wanted to become a Marine. Throughout high
school, she trained her muscles to the limit so that one day she may proudly
serve in the Corp. However, the Marines rejected her application, considering
her mentally unstable due to a near-lethal blow Jane once administered
during a heated struggle. Forced to work part-time as a subway construction
worker, Jane enters the tournament to measure her prowess and justify her
training in a youth.

Uhh... "G.I.
Jane"? This design is a bit on-the-nose. A bit literal. Other than being a rather "butch" chick, there's nothing
too original about her design (although in the video game realm, being a butch
chick could be considered original. Just stating facts). Jane probably
isn't the first character you think of when you think Fighting Vipers or
Fighters Megamix (and she's probably not the 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th character you think of, either).
You catch my drift.
Yeah, Jane might be THE most boring character from the series, if you're asking
my personal opinion... but at least she has some competition. Sega should've put
a bit more effort into character development and storylines back then, it's not
that hard. At the least, she reminds me a bit of Paul
Phoenix. She's got just about the same amount of sex appeal too.
>____> I hope I made someone out there chuckle, for any reason. I'll give
Jane one thang. This gal hits hard and can kick some ass. I can respect a
fighting female, even if she lacks style. I give credit where credit is
due.
