GENERAL/STORY:
The
Flash is a name shared by several heroes from the DC Comics universe. The
original flash was created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Harry Lampert,
and first appeared in Flash Comics #1 (1940). The Flash possesses
the ability of "super-speed," which allows him to run and move extremely
fast, use superhuman reflexes, and seemingly violate certain laws of physics.
Thus far, four different characters, each of whom somehow gained
the power of "super-speed", have assumed the identity of the Flash: Jay
Garrick (1940-), Barry Allen (1956-1986, 2008-), Wally West (1986-2006,
2007-), and Bart Allen (2006-2007).

REVIEW:
I
never liked The Flash... I never really liked the way he looked,
or his theme... A guy who can run really fast? Hmm. Nope, still doesn't
excite me. Not too fond of his superhero name either... I respect the design
for his history, and maybe he was cool in 1940, but that doesn't mean he's
a good design nowadays. I even checked out some recent comics, but he still
fails to really impress when compared to so many other superheroes.
