GENERAL/STORY:
Karnov's full name is
Jinborov Karnovski. Karnov, although popularly illustrated as an Eastern
European or a Slav, is actually from Central Asia, the former Soviet Union as
shown on the original arcade flyer and again in Karnov's Revenge.
One year ago,
Karnov, who was too confident with his power, lost his pride for a fighting
champ. Since then, feeling pale flame of revenge burning inside, he endured a
very hard training in the land of severe cold. And his invitation letter is
telling us now his
time has come.
Karnov originally starred in his
own arcade name (titled Karnov) which was developed and published by Data East
in 1987. He later became Data East's mascot, appearing in many other Data East
games including Bad Dudes Vs. DragonNinja in which he played a boss in
the first level. Karnov later appeared in the Fighter's History series.

REVIEW:
So he was
really the first boss from Bad Dudes?!? I just figured that out... Damn, I loved
that game when I was a little kid. Karnov was so retardedly easy to beat
though... LOL. There's
something slightly entertaining about this guy, but the lasting appeal just
isn't there when it comes to the fighting genre.
