GENERAL/STORY:
Dr. Azuma is an authority
on electric technology. He is engaged in developing robots to serve the
welfare of mankind. But one night these robots are struck by lightning
and go insane. They begin to destroy everything in their path. To cope
with this devastating catastrophe, Tetsuya, Dr. Azuma's son, voluntarily
becomes a human robot, even though he realizes he can never return to his
natural form.
Casshern and his robotic
dog, Friender, join forces with a beautiful girl named Luna to battle
the robots led by their brutal boss known as the Braiking Boss.

REVIEW:
I just recently checked
out some of the new Casshan anime and the new live action film; and he's
definitely one of my favorite Tatsunoko characters so far. On a side note, I wonder who would win
between Casshan's mech-dog and Strider
Hiryu's mech-panther... Hopefully Strider will make an appearance in
Tatsunoko VS Capcom 2 so we can find out. Hehe. Anyway, he's great in Tatsunoko VS
Capcom, though he should be a bit faster. Great character though.
