Khushnood Butt / Marco Rodriguez

BIO:

Marco is a Kyokugen-style karate expert who trained under Ryo Sakazaki. He is named Marco Rodriguez in Japan but was renamed in America (possibly to avoid confusion with mixed martial artist Ricco Rodriguez).

He lead a somewhat austere life in a wooded area on the outskirts of town, and fights using powerful, deliberate attacks. Many of his victory quotes sound insightful and philosophical, just as serious as his training and demeanor. He also owns a Kyokugen school (previously owned by the Sakazakis), and enjoys teaching.
Marco was a green belt at the time of The King of Fighters XI.

Marco/Khushnood nicely took the place of Ryo in the Garou series as the new Kyokugen Karate fighter. He's a badass design all around... simple and to the point... yet original. With his hard-hitting moves and awesome animations, he puts a unique spin on the Kyokugen style, while keeping tradition alive. On that note, he's really a perfect "next generation" Garou character... and immediately original since he's one of the few African-American karate fighters of the fighting game universe. On a personal note, he actually looks exactly like my first karate instructor!!! True story.
