TEKKEN 7 Sells Over 9 Million Copies Worldwide

TEKKEN series producer Katsuhiro Harada announced on Twitter today that TEKKEN 7 has now achieved over 9 million copies sold worldwide since the game's original console launch back on June 2nd, 2017. This new milestone makes TEKKEN 7 the #1 best-selling game of the entire franchise, with a total of 53 million copies sold for the series collectively. For those wondering, the revolutionary and record-breaking TEKKEN 3 topped off at 8 million copies sold on PlayStation 1. To commemorate TEKKEN 7's fifth anniversary tomorrow and new milestone, check out the brand new celebratory illustration by Jbstyle featuring none other than boss-mode Kazuya Mishima.
