Phoenix Cyclops is a cosmic-powered variant of Scott Summers who harnesses the fiery energy of the Phoenix Force, drawing primary inspiration from his militant Phoenix Five persona and eventual descent into the Dark Phoenix role during the 2012 Avengers vs. X-Men storyline. While Phoenix Cyclops retains his signature optic blasts, he also has enhanced cosmic abilities such as pyrokinesis, teleportation, and flight. Driven mad and corrupted by his new powers, he transforms into a villain and tragically kills his mentor, Professor Charles Xavier.
