Oichi is the younger sister of Oda Nobunaga and the wife of Azai Nagamasa. She made her series debut as a playable character in Sengoku BASARA 2 Heroes. Oichi is a tragic woman with who is very melancholic in nature and quite insecure about herself. She always thinks of herself as being guilty of things that she has no control over. She was first sent by her brother, Oda Nobunaga, to marry Azai Nagamasa and to spy on him. However, she genuinely fell in love with Nagamasa and became torn between betraying her brother or her lover. She also regards her sister-in-law Maria with jealousy and as a rival due to her pampering of Nagamasa, but when Maria turns her affections towards her she gets along with her quite well.
