I didn't know much about Polymar before Tatsunoko VS Capcom... and at first glance, I chuckled at his outfit. Is that a green thong he's wearing? :/ However, after using him in TVC, Polymar grew on me. A good way to describe Polymar's appearance and fighting style in Tatsunoko VS Capcom is "epic," as well as funny. His "overly exaggerated" martial arts techniques really crack me up (in a good way). Nonetheless, Polymar manages to be pretty cool still to this day... especially for an old school Japanese superhero. Something about his fighting style definitely says "badass"... Capcom did a great job with his moveset.

I really like Polymar's overall play style in TVC and he's definitely one of my favorite characters to use in the game. His look also reminds me a lot of Viewtiful Joe (who is based off of Tatsunoko superheroes, including Polymar).... Just a bit taller. Hehe. And don't you dare say he looks like a Power Ranger... get it right... Power Rangers look like him. ;)
