Namira is a belly dancing princess with a sword. Character designs from Mace: The Dark Age weren't too elaborate... so she's sort of an "expected" character archetype from that time. She has some pretty decent fighting animations for the time. Considering her fighting style, she's
somewhat of an early Xianghua. There's an obvious similarity to to
Sinclair from AOF3 as well. Her finishing move is funny as hell (she shrinks her opponent and kicks them up into her
hand). Mortal Kombat designers wish they could come up with something so clever and silly.
Worth mentioning, Namira's in-game "transparent" pants were actually a
technical achievement at the time... for N64 graphics, that is. Namira's transparent legs look cool behind that silky material. NEXT GEN! You Gen-Z kids missed out on the good old days. The 90's were the best. Like other females in Mace, the designers did a good job with her proportions (as she actually looked like a female). Hey, rendering actual attractive
/ feminine females in 3D in the mid/late 90's wasn't an easy task... ask Midway and the MK team.
