Wrapped and bound in bandages, dragging his blades, the mysterious Mukuro is actually Shikyoh back from the dead in the form of a zombie. With his love of killing still fresh in his mind along with his few memories and fighting style, Mukuro wanders the land in his undead form, continuing to kill innocents. The skills he once had now fade from his mind, but he has moved beyond noticing or caring of such things. In death, as it was in life, he roams with his Kyoudachi Hagewashi, the Misfortune Blade of the Bald Eagle.

Every fighting game needs it's "freak", of course.... I think Mukoro better fits the bill than Shikyo did, but there still seems to be something missing about the character, if you ask me. He's got a few killer moves and animations, but his outfit is just too boring for me. Overall, Mukoro seems like more of a "filler" character at the end of the day. I'm sure he appeals to some players, but the more traditional samurai characters really steal the show in the Last Blade franchise.
