Alex

BIO:

Alex is a cloned Dromaeosaurid made from a fossil by Doctor Bosconovitch during Kazuya Mishima's tenure as the head of the Mishima Zaibatsu. He was a "palette swap" for Roger in Tekken 2 and TEKKEN Tag Tournament, sharing Roger's moveset in animations. Alex returned in TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2 with his own character slot and his own unique moveset. Alex is intelligent for his kind, and, while he is never shown to be able to speak like Kuma II can, he shows some humanlike characteristics and seems to be able to understand the English language.

Alex was undoubtedly an entertaining as a palette swap for Roger in Tekken 2... I remember he definitely turned some heads at the arcades back in the day. ;) Something about a raptor with boxing gloves is just immediately likeable... plus, his face just makes you want to laugh. But does he really make sense as a character in Tekken? Of course he doesn't.... lol. While he had a place in the games he appeared in, he was later replaced with better comic-relief designs in the Tekken series.

He's was absent from the fighting game universe for quite some time, but surprisingly made a cameo in a background of Street Fighter X Tekken. A short while after that, Namco finally brought him back in Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The overgrown lizard has definitely evolved since his earlier appearances, borrowing many moves from Roger Jr., but also introducing a few of his own. I have to admit he looks pretty damn cool in TTT2. That graphical shine on his scales is pretty convincing, and yes... he still turns heads. XD
