Hahaha! You know what... It doesn't sound all that bad. If it's completely different from the last Mortal Kombat game, it's a step in the right direction. It's kind of sad that they have to completely revamp their gameplay system though... I don't remember any Street Fighter or Tekken games that had to change anything that much.

Well, you heard Boon; the game will have an all new combat system with different elements like Close... Excuse me... Klose Kombat, Freefall Kombat, and detailed stage interaction. The word on the street is "No fatalities but fatality-like moves." I'm not a huge fan of DC characters, and you should know how I feel about a lot of MK characters (the newer ones at least); and even though the last Mortal Kombat game completely SUCKED, I'll still give this game a chance! Yet another big fighting game coming in 2008... And TFG has you covered.
