Saki is a somewhat ordinary 16-year-old high school girl. After a monster appears in her town, she unexpectedly becomes an Earth Defense Force specialist. She is armed with a giant rifle to aid her in defending her town against the monster.

Saki Omokane first appeared in Quiz Nanairo Dreams - Nijiirocho no Kiseki (Quiz Seven Color Dreams - Miracle of Rainbow Color Villiage). Quiz Nanairo Dreams is a dating simulation arcade game (later ported to Playstation & Sega Saturn) and was only released in Japan. Her first fighting game appearance was as an assist character in the first Marvel VS Capcom. She later appeared as a playable character in Tatsunoko VS Capcom.

And I thought we'd be safe from Hyper Viper Beams in Tatsunoko VS Capcom. XD Yes, she nicely takes the place of Cable as the gunslinger TVC, but thankfully, THANKFULLY, she's way more balanced (and slower) than Mr. Hyper Viper Beam himself.  Overall, Saki is a cool and unique design visually, and her personality and entertaining fighting style stand out as well.. Such a big gun for a little girl. Heh heh. Her level 3 super is one of my favorites in TVC!
