Galactus is the sole
survivor of the universe that existed prior to the current universe. Originally
Galactus was a humanoid named Galan, who was born on the planet Taa, a
paradise-like world whose civilization is said to have been the most advanced of
any of the known universe of that time.

Back
when X-Men VS Street Fighter came out, I thought a fighting game boss
simply couldn't get any
bigger than Apocalypse.... The
thought of Galactus actually crossed my mind back then; but still, I couldn't fathom the thought of the
planet-eater himself, Galactus, actually making it to a fighting game as a boss
character.
Well, Capcom indeed pulled it off and the result was epic. Galactus was always a cool Marvel villain and makes
for an awesome boss for MVC3. I think they could've rendered his in-game
face a little better though... he just looks too "ape-ish" from some
angles. In any case, I don't think they can make a fighting game boss any bigger
than Galactus. XD
