GENERAL/STORY:
Mickey Rogers was
a professional boxer, but was expelled from the ranks after he accidentally
killed a man in the ring. He currently stalks Southtown seeking opponents
to vent his anger and frustration on, and enters the tournament for the
same reason.
In the first AOF,
Mickey has long hair, worn in dreadlocks. In AOF2, he has short hair. In
Art of Fighting 1, Mickey becomes a small time hood who works for Mr.
Big so that he can get money as a street hustler. in Art of Fighting
2, Mickey has since reformed, wanting to get back into the professional
boxing circuit.
In Mickey's AOF2 ending,
his trainer Pops (who is visible in Mickey's stage as well) informs him
that his time has come, and he has a title bout. We then see Mickey training
for the fight, confident that 'Mickey the Mauler' is going to be the next
champion of the world. His Burning Upper is similar to Geese
Howard's Reppuken.

REVIEW:
If you didn't
know, Mickey was sporting pink WAY before it was "cool" to wear pink. Check out those pink tight shorts,
pink headband, & pink shoes... That's just too much pink. WTF is wrong with this
guy? He had some cool boxing moves and all, but he was an awkward design mainly
due to his outfit.
Since his original appearance (and sexual orientation) was questionable, SNK changed up his design in
the sequel, giving him short hair and making him tuck in his shirt. Although his second appearance was
more appropriate, his design was
still quite plain and unoriginal.
